Though it was certainly not worth the “one more thing…”, the new iPod Nano still is a big step ahead for the flash MP3 market! I mean, not all MP3 players have such a decent video camera built in at such a price point.. Surely it would’ve to be better if iPod Touch got the upgrade as well, but if that was done, Apple would be killing iPhone sales by its own hands!
Coming to the new iPod Nano, it’s got loads of new feature, video recording being the most highlighted, followed by Nike+, FM Radio, Video Syncing to iPhoto, Voice Over etc. Moreover, what’s even better is the price same at just $149 for 8GB and $199 for the 16GB. Surely it’s video recording quality is not something that it could beat every other recorder in the market, but I expect it to be pretty decent just like the iPhone 3GS.
Some added features that I liked are video recording with some simple and fun effects, Genius Mixes and Voice Memos. This surely is a major upgrade from the older model and though I have a rarely used iPod Nano 4G, I would definitely rush out to buy this one! And did I mention that the Pink / Red model would really make a nice gift for your girl? What are you thinking then? 😉
